Rio Bella Farms Ima Cowboy - aka Minkie
It is with huge sadness that we lost Minkie our incredible little stallion on 24th April 2014. We are so proud of this amazing little AMHA 29" stallion imported from USA. He has been with us for many years and has consistently sired the most outstanding correct foals with beautiful heads who inherit his unbelievably kind temperament. Minkie truly was the sweetest little horse to deal with in everyway.
His progeny have been champion show winners aswell as adored family pets. Although he was more of a mink colour than a silver dapple himself, he carried an incredibly pre-potent colour gene that results in so many of his foals developing into this very striking colour in varying shades (see Minkie progeny page), aswell as palominos, duns, buckskins and coloured and appaloosa. My children have grown up with him and his many many wonderful foals and we feel priviledged to have had him in our lives for so long. His legacy is still thriving in the UK and Europe and beyond. .
