Mares & Stallions

All the mares we have bred from have all been hand selected for their conformation, colour and temperament.

Golden Oak Tahiti

This filly was a top Elite Graded show filly, possibly one of the rarest colours in the world, Buckskin/silver dun with big white spots in her coat pattern. Home bred by Minkie out of blanket spot mare, Tahiti has just foaled the most beautiful little dun and white pinto filly who is by Golden Oak Tomahawk (see sale page).

Golden Oak UK Sahara Gold

A beautiful 2007 palomino AMHA filly with white socks. Grandsire is the stunning american palomino champ sire Dels Cowboy. Sweetest temperament, correct and refined bone. Amazing colours in pedigree.

Golden Oak Stars and Stripes

Really striking 31" show winning little 2007 filly. Reluctant sale, gorgeous filly out of our homebred mare Malteser (see above sale page).

Looking Glass Bright Crystal (100% Falabella)

Crystal has been an amazing mare. Bought as a weanling, she has bred 3 fantastic silver and buckskin fillies to Minkie. She's the most brilliant laid back mum, loves being in the house, even knocks at the door if she's in the garden. Pictured here with 2009 buckskin dapple filly foal and covered by Golden Oak Tomhawk for 2010 foal.

Copperfields Pollyanna

We bought Polly as a weanling and she has since had five beautiful foals, silver dapple, palomino or cream dun. She is extremely special as loved by everyone. After a year off, she is back infoal to Minkie for April 2010 foal. Pictured some of her previous lovely babies.

Stallion

RIO BELLA FARMS IMA COWBOY

(aka Minkie)

We are so proud of this incredible little AMHA 29" stallion imported from USA. He has been with us for many years and has consistently sired the most outstanding silver dapple foals who inherit his wonderful temperament. Everybody loves him, nothing phases him, walks in and out the house, up the stairs too if you turn you back!

His foals worldwide have been champion show winners aswell as adored family pets. Most of all, although he is more of a Mink colour than a silver dapple himself, he carries an incredibly pre-potent colour gene that results in most of his foals developing into this incredibly striking colour. (see home page)

This year again he has done us proud siring 4 out of 4 beautiful silver dapple fillies (see sale page)
